Alt-rockers Post Profit want you to question the world around you. On the third single from the band’s upcoming album debut, When You Think It’s Right It’s Always Wrong, the Texan quartet pulls no punches with ethereal vocals and spacey grooves making for a powerful instrumental cocktail. “The song itself is about mistrust and broken expectations,” says vocalist and guitarist Matt Jackson. “The song was originally about relationships platonic or romantic, but as 2020 would have it, the meaning evolved with the times. That mistrust could be against your own government, the authorities, or even other governments.
