Formed in early 2001 in Pereira, Colombia, Headcrusher rehearsed and played some shows in their country before moving in 2007 to NY and in the summer of 2008 finally landed in Austin, TX, where they recorded their self-titled EP, mastered by Juan Urteaga (Exodus, Testament, Machine Head), released in 2010. In March of 2011, they won the Road to Full Metal Texas contest held by RoadRunner Records and played at the SXSW showcase. In January 2012 their first full length Let the Blood Run was recorded in Austin, TX at Lucid Audio, and mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Behemoth, Dark Tranquility, Hatesphere).
