Swedish teenager and climate change activist Greta Thunberg has become a divisive figure in, of all places, the metal scene. Days after her furious speech to the United Nations, which led Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale to call her “our modern day Joan of Arc”, one musician decided to set her speech to death metal — a move that Greta supported with good humor, even as droves of psychos used it to call her a crisis actor. Now, not only is the death metal version of Greta’s speech available for purchase as a single, but all proceeds go to Greenpeace.
