Deftones’ New Album Will “Definitely Be Out Next Year”

It’s been three years since we last heard new music from the mighty Deftones – in the form of 2016’s Gore – and it looks like the wait will soon be over. In a new interview with NBC 7 San Diego, frontman Chino Moreno has revealed that album number nine will “definitely be out next year”. “I’m hoping that it’ll be earlier on in the year, but I feel like once I give a definitive answer or speculate exactly when, I feel like we’ll be held to it so I kind of want to continue on,” he revealed. “Of course, it’ll be out next year – hopefully earlier than later.
