As Slipknot’s magnificent new album We Are Not Your Kind finally sees the light of day, fans have noticed how guitarist Jim Root had been teasing a song from the record some nine months before its release. Sneaky, sneaky. In an awesome video with Fender back in November 2018, the six-stringer was asked to perform blindfolded while having to guess which guitar he was playing – and at the one-minute and 50-second mark, Jim dropped the riff from A Liar’s Funeral.
