Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg has teased that the band have been getting experimental when it comes to their highly-anticipated new album – the follow-up to 2019’s We Are Not Your Kind. With the LP still being mixed right now (though it’s apparently in its final stages of that process), Jay tells WZOR (via Metal Injection) that there’s all sorts of “exciting” and “interesting” elements contained within their new material. “I would say we kind of turned up the dials on experimentation,” he reveals. “And there’s some new things happening that are really exciting, really interesting, stuff that maybe I wouldn’t have even expected us to pull out of our hat.
