Last night, Parkway Drive kicked off their long-awaited U.S. headline tour in support of latest album Darker Still. Having postponed the tour last year due to internal band issues, the Aussie metal titans were back and better than ever at Los Angeles’ Wiltern on January 31, tearing through an absolutely killer 15-song setlist. They kicked things off with nu-metal single Glitch, before several career-spanning big-hitters: Prey, Carrion and The Void. Plenty of newer material was aired – Soul Bleach, Imperial Heretic, The Greatest Fear and Darker Still’s epic title-track – as well as modern metal classics like Vice Grip and Bottom Feeder.
