Following last month’s unfortunate news that 2000trees Festival 2020 has been postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic, the event have just unveiled their first headliner for next year: the mighty Jimmy Eat World. The Arizona heroes were, of course, scheduled to headline this year’s 2000trees alongside AFI and Thrice, so it’s absolutely brilliant to see them confirm that they can make the postponed 2021 date now, too. “We’re mega excited to announce that Jimmy Eat World will be at 2000trees 2021 as our Main Stage Thursday headliner,” says organiser James Scarlett. “They were the first band we announced for 2020 so it felt like the right thing to let people know now.
