Byron Bay bruisers Parkway Drive have donated $50,000 to the Australian bushfire relief effort. The band have created GoFundMe page for fans around the world to pledge what they can, with Parkway making the first (rather generous) donation. “We have started with a pledge of $50,000 AUD and encourage our fans and metal fans alike to donate what they can, however large or small of an amount, it will all help!” say the band. “Thank you immensely for supporting these causes in these extreme circumstances.” READ THIS: 20 classic albums that are 20 years old in 2020 The money raised will be split evenly between WIRES – a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation charity based in New South Wales – and Red Cross Australia.
