Nothing But Thieves Crank It Up in Leeds for ‘Sounds Of The City 2024’ Opener [Photos]

With a month of gigs lined up at Sounds of the City 2024 in Millenium Square in Leeds, the honour of opening up the series was handed to Essex lads Nothing But Thieves, who are riding on a bit of a crest of popularity, having recently supported American pop-punk stars Green Day on their UK stadium tour. Kicking things off for this sold-out show were trashy Essex punk rockers Bad Nerves, who certainly wasted no time in battering through their sleazy anthems. Rattling through the likes of “Sorry”, the Essex lads were as comfortably at home on an outdoor stage in front of a few thousands as they look like they would be ripping it up in some trashy rock club.
