Japanese instrumental rockers MONO have announced a new alive album, Beyond the Past • Live in London with the Platinum Anniversary Orchestra, set for release on March 19 through Pelagic Records/Temporary Residence. The album is a recording of MONO’s 20th-anniversary show at Barbican Centre in London in December 2019, where they performed with The Platinum Anniversary Orchestra. For the once-in-a-lifetime event, MONO selected a memorable line-up featuring fellow Japanese underground icons Boris and Envy, alongside French post-metal legends Alcest and U.K. collaborators A.A.
