It’s a chilly November afternoon, and Ben Barlow’s eyes are fixed on the countryside outside the kitchen window. Neck Deep have been living at this studio for three weeks, and will remain so for as many more, and have already grown immune to the charms of the 400 acres of fields that surround it, the nearby river that recently broke its banks, and the mysterious cats that watch the humans from the safety of the long, snaking driveway.
