A previously unheard Chris Cornell cover of Guns N’ Roses 1989 single Patience has been released on what would have been the Soundgarden frontman’s 56th birthday.The unreleased track is thought to have been recorded during sessions for what would have been a solo album with producer Brendan O’Brien. “One of Chris’s engineers recently reminded me of Chris’s recordings from sessions in 2016, which he still had.
