Watch Green Day’s Explosive MTV EMA Performance

Ahead of last night’s 2019 MTV EMAs in which they collected the award for Best Rock, Green Day performed a storming 19-song set in Spain headlining the MTV World Stage. The band – who were competing against Panic! At The Disco, The 1975, Imagine Dragons and Liam Gallagher in the Best Rock category – proved just why they were deserving winners at the huge ceremony on Sunday, wowing fans at the Plaza de España the night before for #MTVMusicWeek. While the full set contained a career-spanning array of hits, MTV have posted a clip of two songs in particular – Father Of All… and Basket Case – complete with pyro and epic fireworks.
