Rumbling deep in the heart of downtown Edmonton, the masked heavy metal gods, Slipknot graced Rogers Place with their presence on Friday night, giving Edmontonian metal fans the perfect kick-off to the long weekend. The house was packed and thick with anticipation. This would be the first large-scale metal event to actually happen in Edmonton for over two years, so needless to say, metal lovers of YEG really needed this release.
