Brazil’s She Is Dead have just released their new single, Jack Elam, that is now available on all streaming platforms via the Latin American label Electric Funeral Records. The band, that were formed by the trio of Ricky Volpato (drums), Mau Carlakoski (vocals and guitar) and Kim Tonieto (bass and vocals), deliver the sound of punk and garage rock in their songs with influences from the likes of Dead Kennedys and Melvins worn firmly on their sleeves. Jack Elam is just over two minutes of nervous guitars, thunderous bass and destructive drums that joins the striking dialogue on the single, the track is a tribute to the actor of the same name who enchanted audiences in various roles from the 50’s through the 90’s.
