Pinhead Gunpowder share “Shine” off comeback LP; Green Day share 3 tracks off ‘American Idiot’ box

In our review of Pinhead Gunpowder‘s recent single “Unt,” we said that though Green Day released their best album in 20 years this year, if you really wanna hear Billie Joe Armstrong back in ’90s mode, then you should be very excited that Pinhead Gunpowder are back. “Unt” is the title track of their upcoming album–their first new music since their 2008 EP West Side Highway and their first full-length album since their 1997 debut LP Goodbye Ellston Avenue–and today we get to hear another song from the album, “Shine.” It’s another fired-up, super catchy ripper that should instantly please fans of the records that Billie Joe made with both Green Day and Pinhead Gunpowder in the ’90s.
