News: Watch Slothrust’s Video for New Single ‘Cranium’

Slothrust have released their first new music since 2019, in the form of single “Cranium”, out now on Dangerbird Records. The band, fronted by songwriter, lyricist, and guitarist Leah Wellbaum joined by Will Gorin (drums) and Kyle Bann (bass/keyboards), worked with producer Billy Bush (Garbage, Laura Jane Grace) to create “Cranium”, giving an entrancing teaser of what’s to come from the band’s anticipated new album. Wellbaum says of the new single: “I think of “Cranium” as an absurd mating ritual dance by one of those beautiful complex birds with iridescent tail feathers. Except instead of feathers I am holding family heirloom tweezers and my hands are coated in honey.
