The morgue attendants of death metal, Carcass, have a new record coming out September 17 entitled, Torn Arteries. In addition to videos for “Kelly’s Meat Emporium,” and more recently “Dance of Ixtab (Psychopomp & Circumstances March No. 1 in B),” Carcass have also been releasing album trailers in which the band does a deep dive into various aspects of their new record. Episode 2 of the “Torn Arteries” series is out now, in which the band discusses Zbigniew Bielak’s rotting veggie-heart artwork that graces the cover of their new record. Vocalist/bassist Jeff Walker comments on the artwork: “It’s very clean, white, which we’ve never done before.
