September 17 marks the date when Carcass will release their new album, Torn Arteries, via Nuclear Blast Records. In the meantime, they’ve released an animated video their new single, “Dance of IXTAB (Psychopomp & Circumstance March No. 1 In B).” It wouldn’t be Carcass if it wasn’t bleak or dystopian, which it is. Founder Jeff Walker states: “The song is a foot-stomping festival anthem that will go unheard in an empty, vacuous, post COVID-19 world “stadium” where used Lateral Flow Tests blow around as litter in the breeze.” Preorder Torn Arteries here.
