Green Day‘s upcoming stadium tour was already announced as celebrations of the 30th anniversary of Dookie and the 20th anniversary of American Idiot, and now they’ve explained what that means: they’ll be playing both albums in full at the shows. “What a fuckin’ moment it’s going to be,” Mike Dirnt told Rolling Stone in a new interview. “We’ve never done anything like this before. And there’s a really good chance we’ll never do it again.” In addition to the two albums, they’ll also have “35 to 45 minutes to throw down on other stuff,” presumably including a few songs from their new album, Saviors, which is out this week.
