Avatar, Red Method and More Set for Bloodstock Open Air 2022; Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals Drop Out

In just over seven months time, Bloodstock Open Air Festival will return to Catton Hall for the 2022 metal weekender set to be headlined by Lamb of God, Mercyful Fate and Behemoth who will be joined by a massive supporting bill including Testament, Lorna Shore, Hatebreed and many more. In the first announcement of 2022, organisers have confirmed twelve new acts along with the news that, due to the cancellation of their entire European Tour, Philip H.Anselmo and the Illegals will not be appearing with their Sunday Main Stage slot being filled by grindcore heavyweights Cattle Decapitation.
