Album Review: Dune Rats – Hurry Up And Wait

Following an album that hit Number One in the charts in their home country of Australia (2017’s The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit), you’d forgive Dune Rats for feeling the pressure to repeat that success. However, listening to Hurry Up And Wait, it doesn’t sound like its creators even know what stress actually is. Rather, this collection of punk rippers is a joyful ode to youthful abandon. Even when recent single Crazy deals with the subject of excess and over-indulgence, it does it in a manner that’s charming, catchy and teeming with life, rather than being a downer.
