Last night (March 2), Bring Me The Horizon won the award for Alternative/Rock Act at the 2024 BRITs. The band were in attendance at The O2 in London to pick up the trophy from presenters Luke Evans and Marisa Abela, having come up top against their competitors in the category, Blur, The Rolling Stones, Young Fathers and Yussef Dayes. And as well as a big celebration it was also a bit of a rule-breaking occasion for BMTH, with ITV1 having to censor parts of their speech as frontman Oli Sykes instantly said to himself, “Fucking hell.” Oli then went on to add: “We don’t know what to say because we didn’t think we’d be winning this, at all.
