When I sit down with MAAFA frontwoman Flora Lucini, I’m expecting to speak with someone seething with anger. As the force behind one of the fastest-growing hardcore punk bands today, noted for her activism in her local scenes and beyond, Flora has been guiding the band from success to success as of late. Earlier this year, MAAFA released their debut full-length album, Because We Are, which has been making waves for the band.
