Keep Pretending is the first full-length from Portland, Maine pop-punkers Borderlines. In 2012 they released an EP on Insubordination Records, and since then have released a demo EP and a smattering of singles. But this year will mark the first full length, whose sound is rooted in 90’s punk and pop-punk like early Green Day and Riverdales, mixed with more recent melodic punk and alternative acts like The Menzingers and Jimmy Eat World. Keep Pretending is out today on vinyl via Hey Pizza Records, CD through Mom’s Basement Records, cassette courtesy of Memorable But Not Honorable Records and through digital platforms. The album is equal parts existential dread and longing for love, it’s about mourning the innocence of the past and holding out hope for the future...
