Spiritbox – “The Void” [Song Review]

Spiritbox have recently released their latest single, “The Void.” The Victoria, Canada natives have debuted the song live on a number of stops on their current “Eternal Blue Tour” to an enthusiastic reception. Now the track has finally been released officially, along with a companion visualizer video. Initially opening with an electronic beat, “The Void” soon erupts into a heavy and compelling guitar riff. Along with pounding drums, the track’s instrumentation provides a steady foundation for singer Courtney LaPlante’s voice to float above. Spiritbox manages to mix electronic elements into the overall soundscape seamlessly, creating an exciting and dynamic arrangement.
