Listen: Taking Back Sunday have covered Weezer’s My Name Is Jonas

Having covered the song live many times in the past, Taking Back Sunday have just unveiled an official studio version of Weezer​’s My Name Is Jonas. The Long Island emo rock heroes have kept their version of the 1994 Blue Album classic pretty faithful (and even emulated that iconic LP artwork), though it still undoubtedly has that TBS feel to it. Unsurprisingly it all works wonderfully well, with frontman Adam Lazzara using his pipes effectively and not simply just trying to copy Rivers Cuomo.
