Brain Peel and Double Suede are two bands that have both made a name for themselves in the Philadelphia house show scene. After warm local receptions to their respective recent full-lengths—Brain Peel’s 2020 self-titled LP and Double Suede’s 2019 album, Joy—the two bands, who were friends to begin with, decided to team up for a split EP while waiting out lockdown.
