In case you were wondering, the band name is pronounced (Mah Kin Lee). The name comes from vocalist Benjamin Green, middle name McKinley, but he decided to spell it way cooler. This project started back in 2017 as a solo project and Bennys way of holding on to his musical passion after a couple of friends told him the songs were good. “The first song released was ‘Save Me,’ which kind of built demand and led to shows and a full band,” he says. “We got a group together, and away things went! Line-ups change, and people move on. But, as it stands the current line up consists of vocalist Benny, guitarist Tristan Briza, and drummer Anthony Hamilton.
