Atlanta-based outfit Small Reactions have released their new single, “Park Place”: a radioactive blast of “nerve pop” that reflects Deerhunter, The Strokes, and Cage The Elephant. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album, New Age Soul, due out on SofaBurn Records. Relying on the minimal instrumentation of guitar, bass, vintage organs, and drums, the outfit is equal parts post-punk, new wave, and surf.
