Chicago, Illinois’ Without Waves are set to release their Prosthetic Records debut (and third overall), Comedian on March 18. The group’s unique, shapeshifting take on progressive metal is sure to turn heads and dazzle those who like when music doesn’t neatly fit into established genre norms. Mathcore, soul, jazz, death metal, prog, and metalcore all swell and play nice in the sandbox, though even the most seasoned of listeners are sure to be surprised by where Without Waves take each song.
