Sum 41 Brings Down the House with a Fiery Farewell at Wembley [Photos]

The night began with a wild rush into London, barely making it to Wembley’s OVO Arena in time to catch The Bronx tearing through “Around The Horn”. The crowd’s energy was already buzzing, though the realisation that I’d only just made it in to hear Matt Caughthran thank the crowd and exit. This was bittersweet given the hustle I’d made to see them. With a black curtain draped over the stage, anticipation built as Sum 41 prepared to make their entrance. Opening with AC/DC’s classic “TNT” blaring alongside flashing red lights, the stage erupted in flames as the curtain dropped and Deryck Whibley led the band into “Motivation”.
