Dropping pop-punk into my ears is a thing that happens on a very regular basis, it does most of the time have the effect nowadays of getting the reaction “oh no not another Sum 41/Blink 182 sound alike band”, but then on occasion the hitting of the play button is rewarded with something that gives a lot more, a fresh slant on this genre that just you didn’t thing was possible. Enter Still Shaking, a Norwegian outfit that have taken what can be one of my favourite genres of punk and hit new heights of listenability.
