You can basically split the history of music into two eras: Before Sabbath and After Sabbath. The world of rock simply wouldn’t be what it is if Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward hadn’t solidified what this thing ‘metal’ was, 50 years ago.
