Unlike some of their peers, there’s a good humor to Prince Daddy & The Hyena’s raucous party-punk. The band’s jangling, laugh-along songs have that fun-loving vibe that one wants from major-key loud music, but there’s also that scope of emotion that drew everyone towards those weird, fun-loving friends who talked them down over the phone and taught them how to open a bottled beer with a lighter.
