News: Author & Punisher Unveil “Blacksmith,” Add U.S. Tour Dates

One man industrial/drone metal project Author & Punisher have dropped the third and final single for the upcoming album Krüller due out on February 11th Founded by mechanical engineer Tristan Shone in 2004 the project has merged his career in engineering in both soundscape and aesthetic. To create his albums Shone has utilized raw materials and electronic circuitry as tools for creating his hypnotic yet desolate soundscapes which are on full display in “Blacksmith,” dubbing his controllers “Drone Machines” and “Dub Machines.” Describing the tracks lyrics, Shone states “Lyrically, this is an ode to Black women-led movements who have been fearlessly leading the way against oppression in this country for a long time.” The band has previously...
