A lot’s changed for Mike Sosinski in the past four years, and none of it has been normal. Mike’s long-running ska-punk band Kill Lincoln were recording their 2020 album Can’t Complain–which was their first full-length album in seven years–the day the world shut down due to COVID lockdown, and when it came out August of that year, the expectation was that it would be embraced by the small-yet-tight-knit ska community and probably no one else. Instead, a widespread discussion about the renewed interest in ska took off as we were all in lockdown, and Kill Lincoln and Mike’s then-relatively new label Bad Time Records found themselves at the center of it.
