Johny released the following statement about the swift evolution of the track “This song came about very quickly. I woke early on Thursday (yesterday 2/4/2020) morning about 5.30am. I almost exclusively write songs in my head before I touch an instrument. the chorus came to me at abvout 6am and the entire song was complete by 8am. After breakfast I dived in the studio, worked out the chords from the melody in my head and the entire song was recorded and mixed by 4pm.. This moring (Friday 3/4/2020) I did my usual trick of fucking around with stuff and completey rerecorded the guitar, then final mixing and mastering all done by 4.30pm.
