Forest City & Friends, a Maine-based rock and roll group known for their funky/psychedelic stylings, released their newest EP Sol, and it’s a perfect illustration of the band’s eclectically entertaining approach. The EP comes two years after their robust self-titled release Forest, City & Friends from 2020—an album that showcased the group’s uniquely diverse approach to songwriting. With Sol, however, the band explores even further sonically in a way that progresses the group into a more ensemble-like aesthetic.
