No matter where you are in your profession, altering one’s career path is always going to come with some anxiety, but we’d say D.D. Jackson is quite happy to have returned to his roots. Having premiered his previous two music videos, we are now premiering his third, the video for “The Father’s Dream.” This is another number off of his Poetry Project album. A mix of performance clips with some pretty stark sights of the war in Ukraine, the video really leaves an impression. The instrumentation of Jackson’s collaborators mixed with his gripping vocals make this one of his most poignant songs.
