Southern California shoegaze squad Cold Gawd released their second and most supreme suite yet of crushing downer bliss, I’ll Drown On This Earth, last August on Dais Records. The album is a perfect storm of distortion and dreampop, cracked love songs cloaked in swooning walls of noise. Following the album’s release, Cold Gawd went on to do a run of shows to close out 2024, and now they’ve announced a U.S. tour for the summer of 2025— on the road with Belgium’s New Moon.
