Kicking off what they promise to be a busy 2025, Brit punk six-piece Jools have released a new single, the hyped-up Guts. Explaining the song, the band say it deals with the choice between giving up and carrying on when you feel your dreams are being crushed. “Guts references a time in our life when we felt utterly despaired and stuck in a situation we were in,” they say. “We were struggling with artistic freedom and creation and felt stifled by the thought that maybe the dream — being successful as a band — was over for us.
