Mild Chaos Records – ‘Touch of Chaos Vol. 1’ [Album Review]

Orange County, California-based punk indie label Mild Chaos Records recently unveiled their inaugural compilation album, Touch of Chaos Vol. 1, a 12-track collection of songs from independent punk artists. Mark Kravitz, the founder of Mild Chaos Records, says, “I fell in love with punk after my dad brought home The Clash’s Sandinista! when I was 8. I don’t have a background in music. I’m just a huge fan of the punk scene, and this is me giving back to the music I have loved since I was a kid.” Kravitz started the label last year and describes his job as “everything from the janitor to the CEO.” He is also the label’s A&R person, and he put together the compilation from submissions selected from “punk bands wanted” social invitations.
