A modern-day nomad, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, W.C. Beck releases his latest long player, Facecomber, a collection of songs straddling indie-folk, classic country, and Americana. Originally from Kansas, Beck, after moving from place to place, including Paris, France and Portland, Oregon, landed in Brooklyn, where he is working on projects to be released next year: a sister EP to Facecomber, a collection of garage rock songs, and a French album. Facecomber encompasses 10 tracks, opening with “A Letter From A Friend,” a country-flavored tune with a contagious, mid-tempo rhythm and an alluring melody.
