Yur Mum, a band formed in the UK by two Brazilians, has faced the challenges of being foreign musicians in a country where migrants are often treated as undesirable. Despite rejection by much of the music industry, they persist, knowing that immigrants need a voice to break the cycle of one-sided narratives. Immigrant is taken from Yur Mum‘s recent album, Duality, and features Fabio Couto‘s debut singing from behind the drum kit.
