Vermont-based indie-pop singer-songwriter Lilly Golden recently released her debut EP, Instar. The EP is a collection of songs written during her freshman and sophomore years at Bennington College, where she is studying vocal performance and songwriting. Recorded in her childhood bedroom and produced by Golden and Kai Kennedy, Golden’s sound ranges from pop bangers to warm Americana savors. Talking about the EP, Golden shares, “My lovely roommate had to sit with these songs ear-worming her for years before she could satisfy the itch of listening to them on demand.
