There couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for the return to Yorkshire of edgy pop queen Anne-Marie. The latest in a line of acts to grace the stage at Millenium Square in Leeds as part of ‘Sounds Of The City 2024,’ Anne-Marie was here to raise the heat on this warm July evening and did this with a huge smile on her face. It’s hard not to like Anne-Marie. After trying and failing miserably with a fairly dreadful attempt at a Yorkshire accent, the singer joked she was rubbish at accents.
