Last time I talked to anyone in Stretch Arm Strong (S.A.S.,) it was back in 2022 for a NO ECHO interview which can be read here. It was published coinciding with the then-recent Iodine Recordings re-released, re-issued, re-packaged, re-designed, re-mixed, re-mastered, re-etc. of their 1999 sophomore album, Rituals of Life. Since then, S.A.S. has played Furnace Fest a number of times and very recently, shared their first new recordings (and likely last) together in almost 20 years.
