It seems like it was only yesterday that I was sitting at my dining room table, chatting on the phone with Joey Cape about Lagwagon‘s blistering new album, Hang, which he had semi-jokingly referred to as having been written during his “bitter old man” phase. Somehow, it was actually five years ago! And Lagwagon are back! The new album, as you hopefully know, is called Railer, and it’s twelve-songs of vintage skate-punky goodness that even includes a jokey-but-still-really-awesome cover of a 1980’s power ballad.
